Founded by Jade Sheri Howard, a retired educator and seasoned writer, our mission is to uplift, educate, and inspire through meaningful content, guided journals, engaging books, and beautifully designed merchandise.
- OUR NAME: Our name, Salt & Light Creations, is inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:13-16, calling His followers to be the "salt of the earth" and the "light of the world." Salt preserves and adds flavor, while light shines brightly, guiding others through darkness. These principles reflect our purpose: to create products and content that preserve hope, add value to lives, and illuminate paths of growth, faith, and positivity.

Jade Sheri Howard, Founder and Owner
Jade Sheri Howard is a writer, retired educator, and founder of Salt & Light Creations, LLC, a company dedicated to creating positive, empowering content that uplifts and inspires. With over twenty years of experience teaching high school English, Jade’s career was rooted in educating and encouraging young minds to think critically and grow confidently. Her passion for teaching continues to shine through her writing, where she shares insights on social justice, education, faith, and personal growth.
After facing health challenges that led to her early retirement, Jade leaned into her creative gifts, authoring books that reflect her purpose: to inspire others to live fulfilling, intentional lives. Her works range from motivational journals and practical teaching guides to heartwarming children's stories starring her beloved dogs, Champ and Sable. Jade’s storytelling is authentic and engaging, filled with wisdom from her life experiences and deeply held faith.
